First off it doesn’t want to lower after lockup half the time and when it does the click at full draw is so loud every deer in a 100yd radius will spook It’s not reliable at all. Don’t cheap out buy a better rest now I have a $100 paper weight.

This rest arrived trophy taker smackdown lockup packaging but it was actually some unbranded cable driven knockoff rest , it was shipped from Amazon but I don't see how they could have done this , I don't think they have knockoff archery rests lying around to put into different packaging, either way I requested to be sent a replacement with the real rest so if that one turns out to be fake I definitely won't be changing this review and will be filing a complaint

I think it’s used. It’s hard to get it adjusted, can’t get the rest to stay bottomed out, it keeps coming up about 3/16” , still accurate out to thirty yards. Wish I would have bought one that has fine tuning, butit’s okay. Well it did finally come apart ! So I called and they provided me with replacement parts. It has been working flawlessly since doing the repair. I am pretty handy and have access to tool, most people won’t be able to do these kind of repairs. I do think the company will fix for free but you have to pay for shipping. Like I said in the beginning I think the one I received from Amazon had been returned and busted by a previous customer. I really believe this is what happened. This is a good product, just buy from a store where you can see that the product has not been tampered with.

Replaced a string activated drop away that was giving me fits and it was supposed to be the better design. Switched to this rest and all my troubles disappeared. Probably have a few 100 arrows through this rest and love it, better accuracy and less worry. The string keeper that goes on your limbs suck on this model but will work until I can find something that works and stays put better.

Ok, many reviews and the infamous YouTube video say that this has an audible click when you engage the lockup and draw back. In the YouTube video there is certainly a noise. With mine there is no noise whatsoever. Again, NO CLICK NOISE or any other noise. One quirk I learned tonight. The rest bolt for the vertical axis loosened while shooting. When I reset it, and went to reset the timing, I must have been a hair too tight and when I shot, with the lockup engaged, the forks would not drop. I loosened the timing a hair and problem solved. So perhaps it’s a touch sensitive.I purchased the AAE limb sandwich (last picture) to go with this and am glad I did. It makes it easy to adjust timing and positioning on the limb rather than using the stick on tabs that tt provides with the rest. The small added cost was worth it imho. Some reviews have complained about the spring breaking and longevity. I will update if I have issues and what happens. Planning to shoot all summer and through hunting season in the fall.

I like the lock up feature on this rest. Allows you to let down without the whale tail dropping causing potential noise from the arrow hitting the rest.
