Feeding Guide for Your Turtle
To ensure your turtle enjoys a nutritious and tasty meal, follow these steps:
- Soak to Soften: Soak the food in water for 5-10 min until it softens. Chicken, Salmon, Duck Meat: These soften quickly.
- Nutrient-Rich and Delicious: Although soaking is a bit of a hassle, it's nutritious and worth the extra prep time.
- Feeding Instructions: Based on your turtle's size, feed directly or shred into smaller pieces. Feed 2-3 times a week. Each portion should be about 5% of your turtle's weight, roughly the size of its head.

These smell like absolutely nothing to me, but my pup loves the crunchiness. I hid a handful of these in a snuffle mat and she's distracted for an hour. Feel fine about giving these to her too, since she's small but loves snacks.

I like to switch her food from time to time because she's a picky eater. This one was already great choice. She loves the taste so far, I normally cut them smaller because they are to big.

Excellent bribe to get my dogs back inside 👍I have a toy poodle who is extremely food motivated, and a food sensitive maltipoo. I give the maltipoo the freeze dried chicken bites and the poodle gets the rest. Both are thrilled, and no one is upset they don't get the "same" treat since they share a jar.

Okay, I love turtles! I've had a couple in my time, they were quite personable. I would recommend this for your turtle! However, at this point in time we have dogs, so I am reviewing in that context. As noted in the listing, the LOVES 4 PETS 3 in 1 Meat Turtle Feed is also for dogs and cats. Win win! Our dogs were very enthusiastic at the addition of this to their kibble. We like that it is all natural ingredients with no fillers or preservatives - chicken, salmon, duck and pumpkin. There is a certain amount of trust when you order things online that are produced overseas. That said, these look and smell as you would expect a naturally-sourced freeze-dried product to. There is no chemical smell, no unnatural colors, nothing to suggest anything less the good quality control.

Turtle loves it. He is on the smaller side so I break the cubes up for him. I especially like that these contain pumpkin as I don't ever see my turtle eating any of the greens I provide.

Feeding time used to be a chore, but now my turtle practically swims laps when he sees this coming. The chicken-duck-salmon-pumpkin combo? Absolute genius. Even my cat tried to steal a bite—no joke! It’s packed with real nutrients, not filler, and I’ve noticed his shell looking shinier and stronger since we made the switch. The soaking trick softens it just right for easy munching, and there’s zero weird smell (a huge win in my book). I love that it’s all-natural and safe enough for my turtle and the occasional curious dog. It’s also great for picky eaters—mine used to turn his nose up at everything.
