One of the best sounding and constructed mass produced drums i have played.The hardware is top quality.I just completed my setup of four of these amazing drums. Get one if you can.

Rated it 4 stars because I have purchased other more popular models in the recent past and Tycoon sounded much cleaner without any annoying ring tone. I love he fat body & recommend that any body in the market for new congas to give these a try before you buy any other, unless of course you are going for a high end top of the line product.

I"ve been wanted to get this beautiful drum for a long time and when I saw it on Amazon 60-75% off, I ordered it immediately.I also got the tumba, the congas were sold out.I have no idea how it sound, can't find a store carried Tycoon to check it out so when this thing arrived, boy its look better than the picture the hardwares,rims the body everything put together beautifully!The head are calfskin, and its the best sound I ever heard, its not that heavy for size of the drum compare to LP. The thing I like about Amazon, you can return them if you don't like them with no charge. Thanks again Amazon!!!!!!!!
