Perfect jump ring to repair my cross charm that fell off my bangle! Very sturdy ring that closed nice and tight with the locking pin.

These were just what I needed only 1 of them does not have the lock. Did not want to spend the time to return and wait for the next order. Bad quality control. Package only has 6. One quick look, would have caught this.

This is a review for the oval-shaped ID:4x3mm OD:5x4mm jump rings. This was my first time trying locking jump rings. I made sure to watch the instructional video on the product page beforehand. They work as intended, but I was disappointed with their appearance. Now that I look closer at the product photos, they seem AI-enhanced. The actual rings didn’t have a very smooth surface. After twisting them open the first time to attach my charm, the surface rippled and looked even more uneven. Also, I didn’t like the look of the flat sides; it made them appear even less polished. The video shows regular metal pliers being used, so I assumed the force needed to open them wouldn’t scratch the rings, but they did. I’d recommend using nylon-tipped pliers instead—any beginners like me should save the trouble and invest in those. This was my error but I thought the rings could be reused because I misunderstood the lady in the video who said, "They can be opened with pliers." I assumed that meant they could be opened to be reused. Once you open them after locking, the tab gets damaged, making them single-use only. That was totally mistake, but please be aware. Once they are locked and crimped they are LOCKED.Since I mangled them all trying to reuse them, I won’t be requesting a refund. I definitely wouldn’t purchase again based on the price and the aesthetic issues, however.

These are good quality rings for attaching charms to a bracelet. But they are quite small.

These locking jump rings are awesome. I have to wear a medical ID bracelet and have had to fix it periodically so I decided to make my own using these sterling oval locking jump ring and I absolutely love them. I have not lost my bracelet once nor do I worry that it will fall off. I found them to be very easy to use however, I am skilled in jewelry making. The key is to not pull apart but rather twist the ends away from each other so the ring doesn't lose its integrity.

These locking jump rings are excellent quality and work exactly as they are supposed to. They have been super helpful when I've needed to be make absolutely certain the jump ring would not come open. I think, however, that before trying these, you should have at least some experience with opening/closing regular jump rings and maybe crimping. You should also feel comfortable with jewelry pliers because you may have to push the ring into the proper position or adjust it a bit.
