Your cart is empty.UltraPure Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is of molecular biology grade and free from DNase, RNase and protease free. The BSA is suitable for molecular biology experiments where the integrity and intactness of proteins, RNA and DNA is highly essential. It can be used as a blocking agent, a carrier protein or a stabilizer in molecular assays, ribosome displays and other experiments. One tube containing 40 mg is provided, at a concentration of 40 mg/ml (4%) and has been rigorously tested for DNase, RNase, endonuclease, and protease activity. None of these enzymes were present in the product. Highly pure with >99% purity with a MW of 68Kd. BSA has been dissolved in nuclease and protease free water at 4% concentration allowing sufficient room for the addition of stock solutions such as 10xPBS, 20XTBS for making 2-3.5% blocking agent. BSA is used in enzymatic reactions, northern, Southern, and dot blot hybridizations, nick translation, polymerase reactions, and ligations.
