In the photo that is Uncle Mike's on the left (Ruger SP101 .22) & it's competitor U* P***eK****r on the right (S&W 617 .22). The case is thicker with adequate padding & costs more but appears to be of very good quality. It looks to be a tiny bit wider & shorter although it says they have the same specific dimensions. It does not have thicker padding, lie flat, have a D ring, come in a variety of colors, & have a lifetime warranty. Having said that I still gave it 5 stars & would consider purchasing another. Hope this aids you in making an informed decision.

I ordered this pistol case and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. At first I was a bit skeptical on this product. I wondered how good the rug could be at such an affordable price. I took the chance and placed my order and am glad that I did. I purchased the rug to transport my Smith and Wesson 659 with two extra clips to the range. It is a snug fit when the rug is zipped closed but all in all, I am very happy with it. As a test, I also tried my Glock 22 Gen 4 and see it too fits. I would highly recommend this product.

I had to return mine because my revolver was actually an inch too long, but it's a great value. Fairly well made, though the zipper could be better quality. Has a stiffness to it to prevent damage from bending, and lies flat for use as a rug.

This pistol rug is good value for the money. It fits a Ruger Mark IV with a reflex sight on the top. Fits my Walther PPQ (5.5" barrel"). I like that it has loops for locking the pistol. While it isn't the biggest deterrent ever to someone with a pair of scissors or a knife, it does keep my kids from getting it out before I'm ready to supervise them once we get to the range. Very happy with this purchase, as I am sure my gun is very snug in a rug with this one!

I bought this for my Avanti 747 pellet pistol and it’s a good snug fit.It has a good zipper and a well padded case that offers good protection.

Picked this up to store a Crosman 2240 or 1322. Fits the model 2240 fine but the 1322 is too big. This is not a knock on the product which I think is a great value especially for the price. It is just in case anyone is looking for one for a similar reason. Good construction, well padded and just a basic good product. Does the job.

I use this for a Chiappa Rhino 60DS (6 inch barrel) and it fits great, not much spare room yet not too lose either. I recommend the large rug case for the 5 inch Rhino as well instead of the medium rug case to better protect the fiber optic front sight and fit the extra tall barrel (compared to other revolvers) more easily. The padding is thick and firm so the Rhino doesn't slid around at all once its zipped up. Strong zipper, high quality material and construction. One note for larger grips, because the padding is so thick (which I like) if yours has a large grip (the Rhino does) it may be a little hard/snug to get the zipper all the way closed around the grip but once closed its fine. Will buy one again.
