The construction is very sturdy. The zipper is very well made and won't fall apart quickly.I have another travel jewelry pouch which doesn't contain the necklaces well, resulting in them falling out of the pouch. This hard sided case keeps everything contained much better. The only downside is that the little hooks that are used to hang the necklaces inside are metal. You're supposed to pull them apart, put the necklace on, and then push the hook closed. This works, but the necklaces still tend to fall off and eventually the hooks will break off.I like the design on the top. It provides character...On the negative side, the case has a large amount of space dedicated to holding finger rings, but I don't wear that many rings, so it would be nice to either be able to remove that section and use it for something else or for the case to come with a design with more space dedicated to other types of jewelry, like earrings.Bottom line: I like this product overall. It's not perfect, but I would buy it again.
