I bought this to use for using on the griddle--spatula in one hand, this fork in the other. It's easier for me to move food around that way and I've noticed that it's how most hibachi chefs cook the food. Happy with the purchase.

I have searched for a fork that was like the one my mother had when I was growing up. After a long search I purchased this fork. I am pleasantly surprised. Very close to my mom's, but a bit sturdier. I am looking for many of the kitchen elements that my mother had and this is an excellent addition. Traditional and functional.

This fork is not that high quality. When my package arrived one of the screws in the wood handle was rolling around the shipping box. I guess I should not expect too decent a quality considering this is mass produced in China.

Nice heavy-duty fork that's great around the barbecue, or when cooking large cuts of meat. Note that with 13-inch handle this is fairly substantial and not a typical "granny fork" which typically has a shorter handle. The tines are quite sharp, and the gauge of the metal is heavy enough to avoid any bending. Nicely made, and not expensive.

The quality was poor. The fork was loose at the joint in the handle and the wooden handle had chips in it. I was very disappointed.

My wife agrees this fork is quality bilt but she wants to deligate it to grill use finding the tines too large and course for example for flipping thin pork chops in a skillet. I agree it's strength makes it great for the grill but I have not had issue using it in a skillet. Regardless it was a good purchase for the price.

This is a classic, classic 'granny fork.' Looks just like the photo.In addition it's a solid piece of construction, with sharper tines than I expected (which is a good thing).I would buy it again if necessary.

The right length for me. I like that the prongs will easily pierce where intended, yet they are so NOT sharp as to give accidental slicing of fingers. I read reviews of all similar products before I chose this one, and I saw that on some of them, the prongs were like a razor. If I wanted a knife, I would get a knife. No, I wanted THIS. Very well made and strong. I was able to lift a whole 5.5 lb chicken with this fork inserted into the cavity. Very pleased!
