I only gave it 3 stars because, after doing research, they can’t be used anywhere near plants, pets, people.I have a lot of plants and pets. That said, I took it to a rental apartment we own after the old tenants moved out. Since there was just carpet, tile and walls, we ran it to get the weird smell out of the apartment for several hours and returned the next day.The smell was gone ! Like renewed air .I also have friends that use the cube ones in their a/c air handler with huge success. I don’t know if this style would work.I plan on doing more research with this type of light-it can burn your eyes like welding can.. I was very impressed with the job it did and have some other ideas as well.

I ordered this along with an ozone generator for general purpose house cleaning sanitizing. Upon plugging this thing in you immediately smell the ozone. I immediately left the room and set it on 15 minutes. I began to smell it in the room leading to the bedroom and turned it off and opened a window to let it air out per the instructions which says to ventilate the room for 30 minutes prior to returning. Upon entering the room to open the window I held my breath because it was so strong. Like immediate headache strong and i was there for less than 15 seconds holding my breath (or as much as I could moving around). It is obviously creating ozone as advertised but from now on I will open the window first and set it for maybe 5 minutes and see how that works. Even now with the door closed and the window open I still smell the ozone creeping into the other parts of the house and its already been around 15 minutes since I opened the window and shut the door. Time will tell if I continue using it or not, but I will definitely try 5 minutes the next time.

This UV light sanitizer is fantastic. It's straightforward to operate—just press a button, and it emits UV-C light to disinfect surfaces. I use it daily on my phone, keys, and kitchen counters. It's compact, portable, and provides an extra layer of cleanliness in my home.

This UV sterilization lamp is really so convenient! The compact size makes it easy to take with you on business trips. I use it to sterilize remotes, switches, toilet rings, etc. in hotel rooms and feel much more at ease. The operation is also very simple, one button start, and there is an automatic shut-off function to avoid over-exposure. But be careful, UV rays are harmful to eyes and skin, leave the room when using it, and don't go in right after disinfecting.

Its remote control design allows me to control it easily without the need for close contact, which is safe and hygienic. The 4-speed timer function allows you to choose the right time according to different disinfection needs, which is very convenient. It is also portable and can be easily moved to different rooms for disinfection. This sterilising lamp brings more cleanliness and peace of mind to my home life.

Cheaply made but not cheaply priced. Does appear to produce UVC light, but I'm sending it back.It definitely puts out UVC light. You can tell because it produces and extreme amount of ozone. You can smell it almost instantly and strongly. It comes with a 12" dial dual tube UV bulb that works. It also comes with a remote with several different preset times. That's convenient so that you can set in from a ways away and then leave the room before damaging your eyes or anything. That feature and the timer worked well. But the base is cheap and light and not very sturdy. The arch that protects the bulb is cheap snap together plastic that seems like maybe the seam is already cracked a bit.Does it put out UVC light? Definitely based on the ozone. Is it in a wave length that kills bacteria and mold spores, etc.? Probably. But to me, it just doesn't feel like a quality piece of equipment that would justify the price.
