Review of VaygWay Garage Parking Assist Dual Laser Guide –Wide Angle Sensor Parking Garage Assist Dual Laser Guide – Automotive Hi-Tech Professional 360 Degree Adjustable (1 Pack) @ $15.85 at time of purchase.This was ordered for obvious reasons, and for use in a 2-car garage with split doors (not one huge door). I was hesitant to try this after some other reviews said that this wouldn’t work well in garages such as mine. They did not, so don’t waste your time if you have split doors. But I tried.I positioned this on a rafter beam as much in between the two vehicle spots as I could get. The power cord on this is not very long (about 2 feet), so I had to use an extension cord as well. I like that this does have the capability to use 3 AA batteries for backup power. I was able to position the lasers after parking both vehicles at their optimal spots and then focusing the beams onto a place inside the vehicles that is most easily matched/seen each time they’re parked. I felt that the beams were bright enough to be seen. The biggest problem I noticed was that you don’t always pull into your garage spot in exactly the same way and in exactly the same spot each time. I like that this precludes having something lying on the garage floor that you have to line up each time, or run into (or not run into), there is nothing hanging down from the ceiling that’s in the way when the car is not in the garage, and I have nothing to mount on the side walls to line up on that I might have to move at some point. Plus, this can be easily adjusted in the event of trading a vehicle. I like the electric eye activation.I had to return these because the beams will not adjust widely enough to work for two vehicles in a 2-car garage with separate garage entry doors. You would need 2 separate parking aid units.

Why hadn’t I done this years ago? I installed it between two garage bays, and parking two cars precisely is now a snap.

I had something like this on my old Ryobi garage door opener in my old house. Well Ryobi doesn't make garage door openers any longer so I opted for this. It works perfectly. And kids can't mess with it since it's on the ceiling!

First unit did not work, power supply was bad. It has a three position switch and there was no mention of it in the manual. They would have been better off just not having a switch. Was able to mount with one screw as it weighs nothing. Easy to install. Plugged it into outlet with garage door opener and pointed laser at a unique location on the dash. Hope it works for more than a week.

I was so excited to buy this parking assistant, but in reality it's not very useful. You should park your car only one way (front or rear). You should find the laser somewhere in your car... So I just don't like the idea and realization of it. A bit disappointed. And also we have ceiling fan in our garage, right there where I should install this parking assistant, and I should use outlet, batteries is just for emergency.
