This is horrible. We have completely wrecked several quilt blocks with this ugly stuff that comes through when we iron on it.

Love this for my sewing project, it allows me to iron in places that are difficult to get to. Ironing is a very important piece of sewing and making the end result look professional.

This is a nice, substantial clapper made from solid wood that has good weight to it for pressing flat seams. The handle/press bar makes it easy to move around and I love that it has a dual purpose. The felt is a bit thinner than I would have liked ideally, but its quite accurate to the photos in the description. This is going to be a huge help for making my garments look professional!

I was hesitant when I first bought this item, but after using it one time on the seams of my quilt blocks that I wanted to press open, I was hooked. When using this pressing bar, I do not have to worry about burning my fingers when I try to open a seam. After using mine for about a year, I decided to purchase the aabove from Amazon and send it to my daughter. She does a lot of dress sewing and I know this product will be great for her. I will be sending another one to my granddaughter who quilts when for her birthday.

Beautiful piece, but my friend said it was too large to fit in her "go" sewing bag. Sadly had to return.

This is a nice bar for pressing straight seams on delicate fabrics without leaving an impression on the right side. It is well made, but I wish the felt was thicker. It is as thin as you see on the pictures. THe bar is stable and easy to use.
