5'' 3-Jaw Self-Centering Lathe Chuck
The 5'' 3-jaw lathe chuck is made of high-strength HT300 material with strong compression resistance and long service life. It features an internal and external jaw to clamp larger-sized industrial components and a self-centering function to avoid repeated calibration.
The 3-jaw chuck has a self-centering function and a bevel gear to precisely control the accuracy of the clamped workpiece for precise machining. Bearing tolerance ≤ 0.05 mm / 0.002" ensures the lathe chuck's structural stability and high accuracy.
We provide you with two types of jaws, internal jaw, and external jaw, capable of clamping larger-sized industrial components. You can easily open and close the jaws by rotating the T-shaped key.
This chuck consists of a chuck body, movable chuck, and jaw drive with a simple structure. When clamping a work part, the chuck is able to find and hold the center of the part automatically. All you need to do is install them in the correct order.

This 3-jaw chuck is a great replacement for the 4-jaw chuck on our old Craftsman 109 lathe. Saves a lot of time setting up for those small projects.

I bought the Vevor K-11 chuck for my Vevor lathe. It didnt have an adaptor to connect to the spindle on the lathe.Without this part, my investment of over $163.00 is nothing more that a doorstop.Vevor customer service told me to call Amazon (where I purchased it). Amazon customer service said I had to call Vevor customer service. Again, Vevor customer told me to contact Amazon.If this is the level of customer service, I'm surprised they are still iin business.I will learn from my experience, never buy from Vevor, and will sell my lathe and chuck for $10.00 just to get rid of it.There are other lathe manufacturers that have a better produce, ant a more reasonable price.-----One unhappy customer.

I see no problem with this chuck. Since several reviews indicated a malfunction because of debris inside the chuck, I immediately disassembled it upon receipt. Disassembly was simple. One review stated the jaws didn't close evenly. I think those jaws were removed and were not reassembled in the correct order.I found one small chip inside which would have never caused a problem. The chuck was well oiled, wrapped in plastic, and packaged securely.I am in the process of turning the backing plate, so I can not yet attest as to the trueness of the jaws, but, I don't foresee a problem. The OD of the chuck is larger than 6". It measured 6.424". There is one plastic piece attached. It seems to be a "dust cover" on the back side and has no mechanical function. The jaws are numbered, (1,2,3) but, the chuck itself is not numbered. I plan to just number stamp it myself.I can see this chuck giving years of service. I feel I got a good deal.
