Some environments require both access control and extreme quiet. The Von Duprin Quiet Electrified Latch (QEL) device reduces operational noise down to a whisper. Designed with advanced sensing electronics, this device has a QEL feature that allows for the remote unlatching of exit devices. It is a motor-driven latch retraction paired with hydraulic damper making the QEL Von Duprin's quietest solution. A control station operator can flip a switch to retract the latch bolt and immediately change an exit door to push-pull operation.
