The connectors have two test slots right where the WAGO imprint appears: one in the conductor entry direction and one on the opposite side. This accessibility provides extremely convenient testing conditions, even after installation, within a wide range of applications. Every connector variant also provides a secure contact for all standard test probes.

Although more expensive than standard wire nuts, these are SO MUCH easier to use. I find they create a much more secure connection ... especially when connecting solid wire with stranded wire (like when installing most ceiling lights)!

I’ve always wondered about these lever style wire nuts, having tried them I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long. After recently moving I was doing a lot of home DIY electrical work: changing out light switches, changing them out again to update to smart switches, tapping in additional wires for more circuits.It’s so much easier with these to just flip up the lever, pull the wires, and lock it back down. With old school twist wire nuts once you start getting a lot of wires they become very bulky and hard to fit in the box, and take a lot of force to twist. Then you worry if it’s tight enough. If you have to re-do it, you have to re-straighten all the wires again. The WAGO wire nuts avoid all these issues.This is a nice starter set with a nice selection of sizes and a good quantity that should cover many future projects. Overall I'm very happy with it
