This part fit right out of the box with the exception of the eye-bolt connectors on the end. My need required the hole to be 3/8" and the existing hole was 5/16" (or so). The connector was easily drilled out to the larger size and everything is working well.

I had an older set of Warn booster cables. I sold my truck and forgot to take off the battery side of the quick connector. This replacement battery side doesn't work with the old connectors on the gator clamp side of the set. Sucks for me but you live and learn. Why would warn change the connectors? The molding simply won't allow the two to snap together. Now I have to buy another connector and trade it out on the clamp side... Sucks...

I was thinking this went from the battery to the winch but it is just the opposite. I purchased a used warn winch and i could not connect the red plug to the grey plug that came with the winch. Both of them were warn plugs. If you have a grey warn plug already it will still work you just have to cut a small plastic tab off of the red plug. I made it work with no problem.
