Really love my Waterdrop filter. The water tastes great. It's easy to fill.I take it apart to do a deep cleaning about once a month. The hard plastic top cover and the clear plastic tank seem to be safe to run through the dishwasher. Waterdrop includes a small foam brush to clean the smaller pieces and the crevices. For the pieces that I can't put in the dishwasher, I spray them with HOCL to disinfect them.I average 2 to 3 months between charges. The Waterdrop will show you a red light when the battery is running low and this means you'll have about a day of battery life left. Charging is finicky but it's not a barrier that can't be overcome. One power brick would not charge the unit at all. The green light on the Waterdrop would flash but it would never reach full. A second power brick worked flawlessly. A third power brick, charged the unit successfully, but I forgot to keep an eye on it and I didn't unplug it right away. That brick and the outlet became extremely warm. I think the issue is with the brick and not with the Waterdrop unit, but my advice is, be careful. You might want to set a timer for 90 minutes or 2 hours and just take a safe level of precautions and unplug it after that time, even if the battery is not yet fully charged.

We contacted the company over a technical issue which can happen to any device.We received a rapid and professional response that immediately rectified the problem. Waterdrop stayed in contact to ensure the solution was adequate and that we were satisfied. I’ve had this for 6 months now and the digital on/off switch doesn’t recognize being pressed all the time, specifically when you are pouring water. So you’re filling a cup, then can’t turn the thing off, and all of a sudden you have a cup over flowing, counter full of water and are frantically trying to turn it off and find another cup. Consider this a warning to use by the sink.The device is fine in that there isn’t anything really anything else but it’s 2025 and I feel like I should be able to expect much better by now. I’m a renter so I can’t drill into the counter and I go through so much water, having a pitcher in the fridge is even more work. I use this to one to fill gallons that stay in the fridge so they get cold but the gallons don’t fit under this so this device on the counter and I have to stand there for sometime holding the gallon in a weird angle underneath in the sink. It just feels like a lot of work to get water.The one good thing is that the water does taste fine.

Did not last a year (~10 months).Troubleshooting steps followed as per booklet.It was good while it lasted but wouldn't be purchasing again as its reliability issues seem somewhat common as per other reviews.Update: May 6th, 2025The manufacturer issued a refund and offered a replacement unit. Pleasantly surprised at their service. Will give it another try soon and update if anything changes.

This is great I have it on my nightstand so I don’t have to go downstairs to get water at night…battery lasts a long time before having to charge

I’ve been using the Waterdrop 3L filter for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The water tastes incredibly clean and crisp, far better than my previous filters. I brought it in in April. I changed the filter when it needed. Use it normal until a week ago. The water symbol keeps flashing red color. I thought it's because of the filter. I changed the new one. It's still doing the same things. I changed the machine, nothing changed. Now we can't use it and I have to buy the water bottle until I find something else.Update January 9th: they re-send me another one. Still have no idea what happened to the old one I brought! Big compliments for customer service to take action and respond fast!Thank you for your quick action and response.It's my first time to have trouble with things I brought from Amazon. At first I felt so mad about that problem, cause I have no idea why. Thankfully, Harper took action right away and comforted me. Nicely talked to me and solved the problem right away. I'm glad that Harper is the person who talked to me! Because Harper didn't make me feel uncomfortable or I am a person who makes up the story. I purchased this for my son who recently had knee surgery and couldn't get around much. You can fill up this 'pitcher' and keep it anywhere. If you like it cold, it can sit in the fridge, for my son, he drinks a lot of water, and he could keep the pitcher there beside him on the couch, and it holds quite a bit. So it's convenient, as well as filtering the tap water.Also, I think he's had it for just over a month now, and it's only been charged once.If I didn't already have a water filtration system at my house, I would be buying myself one of these.Update! This unit worked for awhile, then after my kid changed the filter, it wouldn't work. I contacted the company, which kindly send me another unit, and now the same thing is happening with this one. So the basic take-away with this product seems to be it works great while it works, then it stops working!
