This is a very nice axe. I prefer to throw two handed for league night so the handle length is perfect for me. For clutch shots I go one handed and grip just a little higher. The axe axe is light and balanced well with a Very thin and sharp blade. The manufacturer says that this is a pro axe and while I don’t think it’s the best axe for a beginner, intermediate players might really like it depending on their style of throw.

Bought this about 2 months ago and was my first WATL axe. I’m fairly new to axe throwing (4 months) but felt like I needed to use more than a house axe during my league, so I took the plunge after throwing a few axes from other players. The Ragnar had just been released. It upped my game Significantly. The only drops I have now is hitting an occasional knot. It sticks every time, even on dry bad wood. My average went from 35 to 48 instantly. Easy to throw, well balanced, doesn’t wobble and very accurate. I did cut the length about 2” for My comfort level. I highly recommend this axe! Although it’s not the cheapest, it’s cheaper than the Pro line but has a bevel thinner than the Corporal Pro line as I compared it to someone else’s in my league. If you want a Pro level axe without paying $180, this is it for about $125.
