Bought this as my first canister light and ended up buying them for my dive buddies too. For under $200 this light is absolutely amazing and is very very bright underwater and is awesome for an affordable canister torch. It does seem to have a couple small kinks in it but overall, absolutely overshadowed by the good.Pros:Super bright underwaterMounts easy to BCDMultiple light settings and strengthsGoodman handle is comfortable when adjusted to fit your handPretty long battery life on high.Cons:The construction of the goodman handle (in particular the allen screws and but can be difficult to adjustLight tends to come on randomly or if you bump the housing and when you first put in the batteriesNo power indicator on the housing so make sure your batteries are charged everytimeEh, kinda good, kinda badWhen the battery is low, the light goes into medium strength and only has one light setting (on or off). Its good that it extends the life of your light when the batteries are low so it does go from high to off but it would be nice to know why its happened and not that you have a defective light.Overall its a great, affordable first canister light. The fact that there are others for a little less and don't come with batteries makes this an even better value. Comes in nice hard case (which I can't use with the goodman handle attached) but is a night, professional touch. Would be nice if they could modify the case to allow the handle to be attached to the torch and still fit.

It’s bright enough to impress my tech diving buddies with a $150 can light, but I HIGHLY recommend leaving it slightly unscrewed until just before you get in the water. While carrying our gear in a cart down to the dive site someone accidentally hit the button and turned it on, we didn’t notice and it got hot enough to melt a small hole in my BC! (Obviously under water it’s not a problem, just be careful above water with it!). Battery lasted long enough to complete two full dives without problem.

Well folks, I've used this light in a fresh water lake and a beach night dive that had 5-7 foot (2-2.5m) visibility. I have to tell you that the light worked awesome. I actually ran it on low because it was brighter than my teammates lights. The light is a wide angle beam so not the best at signaling another diver from behind them. Would be best suited for cave and wreck diving. Good area light. I'm glad I got the light for the price and I have already recommended it to a few other divers. This is only after 2 dives BTW. The only negative so far is that the canister sits up high on your waist which makes it diving to activate the push button at the very top. The magnetic light activation button can be accidentally pushed if any gear is in the way or makes contact. Other than that. It's a good lil light too have.

A very good and affordable light! This is a very serious piece of equipment and well made. I have no doubt that it will be a great addition to the technical shipwreck diving I do here in the Great Lakes. If you want a tech light without the price of a traditional tech light price. This is your light. Love it so far after 3 dives with it. Only draw back is the switch is on the canister, not the light head. Easy enough to deal with. Very bright light with descent battery life. Usually use it on 2 or 3 settings down from brightest. Comes with a fantastic charger and case. A+ item.
