Generator so far has worked flawlessly. It is powerful enough to power my whole home (5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3600+ sq./ft.) and most of my appliances at the same time. I'm even able to run my 5-ton A/C unit without any issues. NOTE: my A/C unit is DC-inverted powered, multi-staged and with soft start. I installed a 50A inlet on my lanai, which runs to the main breaker panel, along with a switch, and tested this generator with everything I would use during a black-out. Ran it for over 30 minutes on gasoline while keeping an eye on the gen's display. It never showed any signs of reaching its limits. It is a little loud, but that's expected from a big portable generator of this capacity. I have not had to charge the battery yet, but it has started on the very first attempt each time without any issues. It's obviously not as powerful as a permanent generator which requires a buried tank or a dedicated natural gas source from the home, and costing 10x what I paid for this one, but this is a great value for the price. Highly recommend this product.

I have included an edit toward the end of this review. I mention one possible negative that was not previously discussed.I bought this unit for emergency power for my home. I haven't put it to that use, and I hope I don't have to, although I will eventually test it through my circuit breaker panel. But after testing today, I believe this generator is going to do just fine.I read through the manual before doing anything else. Some assembly is required, but not much, maybe 15 minutes. Tools are supplied. This is a heavy generator, so an extra pair of hands will definitely help. Adding oil (included) would be easier with a longer funnel (also included) but it's not too bad.I had some trouble pairing the remote start key fob to the generator. The instructions didn't seem to work. I finally did get it working, but I'm not sure how!I ran the unit for an hour on propane, following the startup procedure in the manual. I'm using the propane tank from my BBQ grill. No problem with startup. Recommended break-in time is 5 hours at no more than 50% of the running load. I'm going to run the unit for an hour at a time until I reach 5 hours. I used the two AC units in my RV for the load. That way, the thermostat can cut the load in and out, which is recommended during break-in. The generator handled all the load with no problems noticed.I measured some sound levels using my phone. Here are the average numbers at different distances and taken from all sides of the unit.1 meter : 83 dB (loud)10 meters : 68 dB (loud, but not bad)15 meters : 40 dB (in house, door closed, quiet)EDIT on May 30, 2025I completed the 5 hour break in using gasoline. This wasn't my original plan, but I wanted to test with different fuels. Everything worked perfectly. I have connected the generator to my house. I wanted to test powering the house before an actual emergency came up. I started with the stove top. I figured if anything went wrong, it could handle it, since it's just a high-powered toaster! The stove top pulls a lot of power at 220 volts and the generator definitely bogged down. But it recovered to full RPMs quickly. I then turned on another burner, with the same result, bog down and quick recovery. I then switched over to testing a low-power 120-volt circuit. Again, no problems. The bog down is hardly noticeable with the lower power requirements. All in all, I am pleased with how the generator has performed. The only negative I can really point to is that the frequency display has the output frequency pegged at 61.2 Hz, instead of the standard 60 Hz. This has been consistent over a wide range of loads and fuel types and is 2.5% above the standard. For simple resistive circuits, such as stove tops, clothes dryers, and water heaters, this does not present a problem. But for electronic devices, such as a TV or appliances that have an electronic interface it might become an issue. I haven't tested that aspect yet, but if I do, I'll include the results in this review.

Very easy to get the generator running. Just need to fill the oil pan (oil is provided with a little funnel), choose a fuel source (Gasoline, Natural Gas or Propane) and have a way to connect your electric panel or devices to the generator. Some gear provided. The generator was delivered right to my driveway and I had some neighbors help me get it unboxed and moved a little so I could assemble those few things you need to, like legs and wheels. It is a heavy item, so you might need help with initial movement and assembly, but once the wheels and legs are on, it is reasonably easy to move the generator around using the installed folding handle.Next move is to install the correct electrical gear to hook the generator to my electrical panel. I should be able to run almost everything in the event of a hurricane or other storm knocking out our electricity. Big worry relief. Luckily, I have a few neighbors who all bought the exact same generator and I can learn from their experiences. Sometimes it's better not to be first ;-)
