Product failed 8 months, contacted the seller, told me tough luck, not replacing it. Do not recommend.

This was a direct fit in my wdf320pads1Install was quick and painless, the original element had shorted out and wasn't working.Ran the diagnostic/calibration cycle after installation and now the dishwasher is like new again. Definitely worth paying the extra $10 for an OEM fit/quality.

After 7 years of use I had to replace the heater element for my Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDF330PAHS1) and work perfectly. It is an OEM part and fit perfectly into this model. The issue that I had is that the dishes were not dried properly when the cycle finished because all were wet.The replacement is easy, but you have to unplug the electrical and water connection and take the dishwasher out to get access to the electrical connectors that are below and remove the plastic sockets.Excellent replacement and recommended product!

Used this part in Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III (GU1200XTK series). Installation was easy, and it only required slight bending to fit it into position. (By the way, this dishwasher series is old enough that you do not have to run a diagnostics cycle to make the new heating element work. It worked right away with a standard cleaning cycle.)

Followed a YouTube video and, other than having to pull the dishwasher out of the cabinets, the install was pretty easy. After I installed, I ran a cycle and no heat. I got out the multi-meter and everything tested just fine. After a bit more Googling, I found that my dishwasher had to run a service diagnostic cycle to re-enable the heater. The way my dishwasher did that was to press 3 buttons in sequence 3 times fast, so 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3. All the LEDs come on and then it takes just over 20 minutes to run.

Installation of the element is simple apart from screwing it back in. The ends of the heating element that secure the element to the dishwasher housing as well as preventing water from escaping have a shallow thread for the screws to catch. Since the location of the screws does not allow you to hold the heating element down while you screw on the nuts will make it difficult. There may be other and better solutions to it, what I did however worked: I simply screwed those nuts onto the heating element outside the dishwasher several times until they caught on before I installed it.
