The XT models are a good economical choice for light-touring snowshoe adventures.
All XT bindings are bolted to crampons, not riveted, for easy maintenance.
XT-17 youth model has a ratchet toe strap, adjustable heel strap, and 8" long linear crampon rails.
Weights are based on the total weight including any gear. We have simplified the sizing guide.
Consider the average conditions of snow, either loose or hard pack when choosing the sizes since snowpack affects flotation more than weight.
