Used this to hold timing sprockets while removing sprocket bolt/seal replacement during timing belt replacement. Worked awesome. A little cashy but I can think of many more uses for this tool. Seems well built and strong for reasonable usage.

This is a sturdy tool that would be your best asset if you do timing chains . If you change gaskets behind timing change pulley then you will need this tool to wrap it around without damaging the pulley tooth. I did 10 timing job and it is holding strong.I definitely recommend it .

Worked great to get the crankshaft bolt loosened on my Toyota 2UZ engine. I hear these bolts can be up to 300 foot lbs from the factory, and nothing else I had gave the holding power of this chain wrench. Wrapped a piece of serpentine belt around the pulley, put on the chain wrench, used a 24 inch breaker bar with 22mm socket and the bolt came loose quite easily, and in just a few minutes. There are special tools to loosen the crank bolts, but they do that one task and nothing else, the chain wrench was cheaper and has multiple uses.

Caution not heavy duty. I bought for exhaust work and it serves well. By no means this would hold up to any industrial use. Especially if using a "extension" it would break or bend. The positive side is the handle is narrow and is compact enough to fit where heavy duty versions would not. For me it worked well but i thought it would be of a heavier duty.

I bought this wrench to use when doing timing belts on certain Toyota/Lexus models (where space is limited and an impact wrench doesn't fit). Works flawlessly at removing crankshaft pulley bolts on RWD IS/GS models, which are usually torqued to a ridiculous amount (note, I always wrap the crank pulley with an old belt to prevent damage to the crank pulley itself)

This is not a Snap-on product. I got the wrench and it says "made in china" with "williams" printed on the back of it. The chain broke the 2nd week we had it and we were not even using it hard. DO NOT BUY.
