Great for baking up the camper at night and cant see where im going. Connected to my phone just fine. Strong magnet lets me keep it on the camper all weekend long, even while driving.

Not for the rear of an RV— the connection does not reach from the drivers seat to the rear of a 25’ RV. You have to be standing right next to it for it to work. I got this to back up in my driveway and It cannot work with a 25’ Airstream and a F-150.

Connect through app (hasn’t dropped signal). Great picture/ resolution. No delay 👍 Very strong magnet, attached to the back of my stock trailer driving down country roads. Never moved or lost signal. Also great for watching livestock or loads while driving down the road 👍 Really like the fact that NO wires or mounting is necessary. Can move from one vehicle to another (or anything). Awesome for backing up to trailers or tight spaces.

I got tired of running in and out of my truck while loading in the cold. And running back and forth from the tractor to the air cart when I'm trying to empty out. And got tired of climbing bins while dumping trucks to make sure I don't overfill it. And plan on using one ontop of the grain cart auger to look inside the cart and another one behind the cart for driving down the highway.It sends out it's own wifi signal, you connect your phone or tablet to that instead of the camera connecting to a router then your phone. I got tired of opening the app, it wouldn't connect, so I'd open settings, reconnect to it's wifi, then go back to the app. So I set up automations, so closed the app out turned off my wifi on my tablet, and when I opened the app it would turn on the wifi. Then it would automatically refresh the wifi list and connect to the cam. The range isn't to bad either. With a clear line of sight, I've been 300+ feet away and still had video signal. With a full battery it can send a signal through a few obstructions. But lower the battery, the shorter the distance it's able to work.The magnetic base is nice to slap it anywhere. And there strong too. On a 8 inch auger only 2 of the 6 magnets are making contact, so it will vibrate down slowly, but the end of the rails to adjust the auger height make a good backstop. But I plan on making a mount to bolt on to the auger so I have a better viewing angle.They say the battery lasts 10 hours with the solar panel. But I'm guessing that's with cam constantly streaming a video. Cuz I've left it on all day and only connect to while I'm loading and it still had 50% it more battery life. My boss left it on outside for 2 weeks during christmas and it said it still had a full battery.Most of the time the solar panel is pointed at the ground and it's still charging it. Can charge and use at the same time.Some of the cons in my opinion are, I wish the app had a battery indicator for the camera. We have 2 cameras, I wish that we could change the wifi name on them to tell them apart more easily. The video signal will sporadically drop and reconnect, but when it does it, it's like less than a second or 2 and it's displaying the video again. Since I adjust the viewing angle so often the 2 hex screws holding the camera into the base come loose quite a bit.But for the price, it does what I want.

This solar charging wifi connected wireless camera has a great image. Connecting to it is as easy. The problems with it is the connection itself. I have this as a backup camera for my wheel lift tow truck. it's only function is to watch my wheel lift stinger so I can line up with the vehicles I am towing. The connection keeps cutting out, goes to a white screen that says set up wireless connection, the frames per second are eradic. The highest frame per second rate is 25. The frame rate jumps around so freaking much that this is barely useable.This company, DoHonest, needs to do better....Another problem is switching from day vision, full color, to night vision, black and white. This camera doesn't really need a black and white night vision. The full color mode would probably do well enough, the camera should have an auto white function, adjusts the white out, like a cell phone or digital camera.The app you need, no choice of any other app, needs completely reworked. When saving an image, you can't find it on your phone. You can't record the video with it and you have no access to change settings on the camera, like disabling and enabling night vision, or choosing a save location for the images that are captured.I want full access to the camera, better wifi signal, better frames per second (at least 60 fps consistently), zoom, resolution adjustment, night vision control. Basically, take a good quality phone camera and functions and put it in this camera and possibly take a phones camera app as the app to use this camera...Do better DoHonest

Set up is easy, 1st download the MH CAM app on your smart phone, next make sure camera is fully charged, turn camera on by pressing power button, a string of blue lights will be on indicating camera is on, next open the MH Cam app on your smart device and you will see the WLAN screen in the top box you should see sonix_ wifi pop up touch that on your screen and it should show up in the wifi SSID box hit confirm and you should be in. I installed this camera on my bike to replace the rear view mirror it works great for this so you always know what is behind you. My only complaint with this magnetic camera is it should have a magnetic release button, the magnet on this camera is very strong and with out the button release I would not recommend placing it on delicate paint surface. This camera does not have a zoom and the picture could be clearer. Hope this review helps.
