I recently got the Htcuto Electronic Training Collar with Remote for my dog, and it’s been a game-changer. The 4000FT range is fantastic for training in larger areas, and the IPX7 waterproof rating means I don’t have to worry about it getting damaged if it gets wet. The collar has several training modes like beep, vibration, and a safe shock, so I can choose what works best for my dog. I really appreciate the security lock feature, which prevents accidental shocks. It’s rechargeable, which is super convenient, and the pink color is a nice touch. Overall, it's been a really effective tool for training my dog, and I’m very happy with it.

Patches, my rambunctious Beagle puppy, was a whirlwind of fur and boundless energy. He'd chase squirrels up trees, dig trenches in the flower bed, and greet every passerby with an enthusiastic shower of muddy paw prints. While his playful spirit was adorable, it also presented challenges. His boundless energy sometimes led him astray, venturing beyond the confines of our yard and causing mischief in the neighborhood.Determined to keep Patches safe and teach him good boundaries, I decided to explore training options. After researching different methods, I landed on the Htcuto 2-in-1 Wireless Dog Fence System. This meant I could train Patches not just in our yard, but also on expansive walks and adventures.The system arrived pre-charged, but I took advantage of its quick charging capability, fully topping up both the remote and the collar in just 2.5 hours. This ensured uninterrupted training sessions and peace of mind knowing the battery wouldn't die mid-training.Next, I introduced Patches to the remote training collar. The adjustable strap, comfortable and sturdy, fit him perfectly. The lightweight design, weighing next to nothing, ensured it wouldn't hinder his playful spirit. As he explored the yard, I familiarized him with the different training modes – beep, vibration, and gentle shock. These features, all adjustable to various levels, allowed me to tailor the training experience to his specific needs.Training began with positive reinforcement. Whenever Patches stayed within the designated area, established using the wireless fence with its 14 adjustable levels and 3500ft range, I showered him with praise and treats. When he strayed too close to the edge, the remote emitted a gentle beep or a vibration, acting as a gentle reminder to stay put. Thankfully, the system prioritized safety – the gentle shock, the last resort, had 30 adjustable levels ensuring the reminder was always mild.Gradually, Patches learned to associate the boundaries with the warning signals. He'd playfully explore the yard, always mindful of the invisible fence. If he got too close, the beep or vibration served as a gentle cue, and he'd happily retreat back into the safe zone.The Htcuto system not only provided a safe space for him to play, but also opened up training opportunities beyond containment. All need to be aware, this brand offers several options, or types, of collars. I think this collar is the type below another collar I received from the same brand. Everything seems the same on the collar. The remotes are almost identical. I was confused though, because this remote was lacking one of the features I really liked. That is the ability to lock your settings. For some reason... although this is the same brand and seems to be the same collar, the remote just didn't include that option. Thankfully you can pair the other remote to this collar as well. That's not convenient though, if you've got different dogs with different issues you're trying to work on.I really much do like this brand. Their collars seem very strong, they offer a broad range of up 6,000 feet I think it is, and they have the invisible fence option. All seem to be competitively priced, and all characteristics seem pretty standard across all brands.So... this collar is very customizable. As in you can choose a multitude of different levels for Beep, Vibration, and Shock. However with this remote, that I'm not crazy about, it's very easy to accidentally increase your level of each as there is no locking setting. I'm not sure of why this was different. I thought I was actually getting two of the same sets, just one pink and one Grey.Other than that though, these are standard training collars that seem to work about the same across different brands. Up to you to choose which better suits you. Just be sure to read the ad for exactly what you are getting.

Disappointed there is no mic option, I wanted to do verbal recall with my own voice instead of just a beep. That was on me for misreading the description. However, the sound is still so loud on the lowest volume that my dog is scared from the beep! My dog had been trained with a clicker before so a sound cue isn’t the issue here, it’s the volume of the beep.I also feel like the lowest vibration setting is still too strong as well. So much so that I would not use it. I wouldn’t use the shock on this ever. While testing out the controls, I accidentally changed it to level 9 and the shock was even too much for me when I held it in my hand. I think it’d be cruel on a dog. For reference I have a 63 lb Labrador retriever and she did not enjoy this for the 5 minutes I had it on her. It scared her and I only used the beep feature.I will say that it seems sturdy and well made but unfortunately this is not the solution for my dog.
