In shopping for a new wireless doorbell system, I chose the Sadotech product based on the very positive reviews on numerous websites, as well as the features of their product. I received my order a few days ago, and I am very pleased with my selection. I chose the Model CXRi, which has one Remote Button, one Plug-in Chime and one Battery-powered Chime, in matte black. All components are well constructed, and aesthetically pleasing. The enclosed instructions are clear and concise, and the doorbell operates as described. I appreciate the flexibility of choosing from fifty-two ring tones and four volume levels. The plug-in chime will be my main ringer, while I can take the portable battery-powered chime to provide coverage wherever I need it, such as when working in the basement, or out on the backyard patio. I recommend this manufacturer and product to anyone shopping for a quality wireless doorbell.

I've purchased this Brand in the past and it never disappoints. This time I required 2 individual Chimes because my apartment is so large; it would appear my hearing is not as good in my Dotage ?! I'm also not the greatest with things 'Technical', but I was able to set the 'Ring Tone' I liked (Big Ben) on both separate Chimes, and it all works like a charm. There's lots of 'Ring Tones' to choose from, and offer a full range; not that I'm putting 'Christmas Tunes', or 'Happy Birthday' - consider it a miracle it all went-off without a hitch, and shall leave well enough alone. Oh, you can adjust the 'Volume' too. I've recommend this product to both neighbours and friends; all speak highly of the quality and ease of setting up.

Had extremely high hope due to all the positive feed back other buyers left on this product. I wasn't disappointed one bit! I was extremely pleased with this product when it came in. You could tell from the packaging alone that this product was well made. I was expecting the tones to be loud but when I plugged it in and tried the product out I was blown away on how loud the product actually was. Its perfect, if you have it plugged in on the 2nd floor, you can easily hear it in the basement. The wireless distance is great on the product. The aesthetics of the product are great too, very stylish and very modern, can easily be passed off as a nice show piece.Installation was extremely easy and product is built well overall. Have had it for over a year now and still working as if it was new. Should mention that I use it at my business where I have people ringing the bell every hour or so, so its been aggressively used and still functions well. Would highly recommend this product to anyone, even people hard of hearing could hear this.

Delivery was fast. Product was easy to install and works great. Simple to adjust the volume, and I like that it has a flashing light so if the movies are too loud we might see the doorbell ringing. Quick selection of ring allows for something festive right now, and will switch to a regular ding-dong in the new year. Also like the two doorbell units as I have placed one upstairs where we have on occasion in the past missed someone ringing the old doorbell, especially when upstairs doing the laundry.

This was exactly what we needed... Too frequently, we had a visitor at the door and we couldn't here them knocking on the screen or the wall; we had one delivery guy damage the skin on the knuckles on his hand, when he was attempting to knock loud enough to be heard. Unfortunately though, we live in an apartment, an older one that has no doorbells; not only would having one wired in be very costly (I'm disabled and my 6 y/o son isn't capable, so it would have to be hired off to a pro), but my landlord said that we would have to pay for it, and that it would have to stay with the apartment (not unreasonable considering). I'm so glad we asked him about a doorbell though, he was the one who enlightened us on the existence of wireless doorbells like this one. This one is perfect for us. The 2-sided tape worked fine to stick the button on to the security screen door (the wall is stucco, and I've never been able to get anything to stick to stucco without a large amount of high quality epoxy, the permanent kind that gets hard as a rock), I might figure out something a little more secure than the 2 sided tape later, but for now it's holding fine and has gone through 3 major storms so far. The receivers are also perfect for our needs. They're not battery powered, they plug right into the outlet on the wall, and need nothing more than the prongs on the outlet to hold them up. I have one plugged in centrally between the kitchen and living room, and one in my bedroom, and the bedroom one, I grab when were heading into the backyard (the access to which is a sliding door in my bedroom) and I plug it in, in the back yard while we're back there, so we can hear it unmistakabley if someone should come to the front door, which is very important for us, since we spend at least 60% of our day in the back yard. The signal has no issues making it through the metal screen door and through the walls to get to the receiver out back. The 52 different ringtones to choose from are pretty cool, but it does reset to default every time it's unplugged, which puts it at its loudest setting, and back at ringtone #1, which is just the standard universal "Ding-Dong". Also, the blue ring on the unit only lights up when the button is pressed, which I demonstrated in the 2 photos I added; I suppose that this might be a slight energy saving feature, but I'd rather have to change to battery in the button more often, and have my guests at night be able to readily identify the button. That's just about the only thing that could improve the unit from the way it comes, either by having the light on the button stay lit at night, and just get brighter when pressed, or perhaps have the button itself lit up at night, or glow in the dark.

The order arrived two days earlier. This doorbell is easy to install. It is literally a plug, screw, and voila! Mounting the transmitter with the screws is a cinch and took less than a minute!! I used a tiny Phillips screwdriver to pierce the plastic with minimal pressure then screwed in the screws with a regular size Phillips screw driver. I did not use the anchors. I was able to use the screws from my old doorbell and one existing hole to mount the transmitter. I had to make a new hole for the second screw. The black transmitter looks great on my white door jamb. I have one receiver in the first floor hallway and the second receiver is located in the basement. The doorbell can be heard on all three levels of my 5,500+ square feet home. The first 3 melody tones are that of a standard doorbell melodies. The other 49 melodies are popular songs. You have many to choose from but it takes a few minutes to go through them all. When you unplug the receiver and plug it back in, it defaults back to the first melody. So know that if your power goes out or if you unplug the receiver, you will lose your set melody. I'm happy to know that I will always know when someone is at my door and my guests will not be left standing on the porch waiting for me to answer the door! I hope this review with pictures is helpful. Great job Sado!! This is an excellent product at a reasonable price! Thank you!!! I wish I had found this product sooner!! I've spent some money on solutions that didn't work.

This is a good product. Worked as advertised. My wife and I recently started working from home and set up an office in our basement. We were concerned about not being able to hear the door bell (it's one floor up) and after looking at the hassle of wiring in a second door chime in the basement, I saw this product and it seemed to fit our needs. It is well made and attractive. Once I disconnected the original door button outside and installed the new push button at the front door (no wiring required; I used the screws rather than 2-sided tape) and plugged the 2 receiver units into a wall plugs on the main floor and in the basement, our problems were solved. The 4 levels of volume gives a wide range of loudness. The distance from the front door to the furthest receiver is only about 100' in our case, so I can't confirm the 500' claim, but it should work for most home situations.I gave it only 4 stars for a personal reason...The unit produces 50+ different tones (electronically). I didn't listen to them all, but Sado Tech has a video online where you can sample them. The first 2 settings are the standard set of short tones when the door button is pressed, and then silence. The remainder are (or seem) much longer music/sound effects settings (again with only 1 push of the button) that continue for 15 seconds or more - long after you've determined that someone is at the door (and maybe already answered it!).A small personal gripe - this is a good product at a good price.

My wired doorbell had been broken for months. I finally decided to do something about it when I passed by the doorbell section at Lowe's. After looing at the limited selection there, I turned to my old friend Amazon to search out alternatives. I decided on this product based on low price, decent looks (no branding on the face of the product) and the reviews. 2 days later it is in my mailbox. Whenever I have one of these projects, I am always optimistic and think it will take only an hour or so. Often that turns into several hours and usually a trip to the hardware store. In this case, from the moment I opened the package to the moment I was celebrating completion could not have been more than 15 minutes. And believe me, I am no handyman. Product works great, easy peasy installation. I like that there are 2 "ringers" so I can put them in 2 separate places around the house. You can easily adjust the volume and the ring tone. The only negative is that the "doorbell" is smaller than my previous doorbell, so it doesn't cover both the holes in the outdoor wall that the previous doorbell covered. This is a great product for the price and ease of installation.
