This was to fit a mahindra 1626 hst. There is usually an appending in one end to fit onto the motorThis does not have that opening and hence does not fit this tractor. Ironically this was a filter I had ordered before and fit . I just reordered the same filter and got a bad one.

I own a Mahindra 1526 backhoe and love my new WIX filters! They were half the cost of what the Mahindra filters cost and have the same great fit and quality. WIX carries all the filters I need for my tractor. Thanks again Amazon for another great product!

This filter worked great for my Mahindra tractor and it was the perfect size. This saved me half the cost as the OEM one and it was high quality and fit perfectly in my tractor. I would highly recommend this filter.
