For the money they are pretty good but I wouldn’t use them for more than crafts. Nothing precision or requiring heavy use.

I really like these files. I build plastic models and they are wonderful for filing off excess plastic from different shaped pieces and hard to reach areas. I highly recommend them.

They work extremely well despite not being “perfectly” shaped. The diamond coating has some irregularities, but it has not hindered my ability to use them successfully. On the contrary, the asymmetry of craftsmanship has created a more versatile selection of edges and contours to work with.Do follow their instructions about only filing in one direction. They work far better when used as suggested. I used a marker to write on the outside of their sheath which direction to file so I do not forget. I find I reach for these far more often than my standard finishing rasps, they remove material far more smoothly and efficiently. Recently I repaired a set of branch clippers that had become corroded within its lower claw channel: worked beautifully and they are now better than ever.
