This is a beautiful, solid box, and it would have been perfect if it weren't for two cracks in the bottom. Because the bottom panel is sized exactly to the rest of the box I can't fix these cracks because then the bottom panel would be too small. It's a huge pain for me to try to return it, so I'll most likely try adding my own panel to hold it together then fill in the cracks with wood paste of something. This is very disappointing because in all other respects this is a beautiful, sturdy, functional box well worth the price.

I would really gives this a 3.5 if possible. I ordered a couple to store 3.75 inch wooden chess sets and they are the perfect size. Quality seems to be a bit iffy on one of the two the lid doesn't close all the way when not locked and one of the keys doesn't work. The finish on the inside is also a little rough but I plan to line them with felt. Overall they work for what I got them and feel sturdy.Pros•Perfect size for 3.75 inch king chess sets•Has partition•Sturdy, will keep pieces, or whatever you store in them,safe•Decent overall quality•Not super expensive like an actual chess boxCons•Quality seems to vary•Overall finish could be cleaner especially on the inside of the box.

The listed size is 11x 8.5x 5 inch.But real size is 8x 6x 2.5 inch.More over hinge is Nothing keyhole.Painting Quality also cheap.I will ask return this product. I don't suggest to buy from this vender.
