I didn’t realize it when I ordered this cookbook holder, but you slide the two pieces together allowing you to adjust the size for different sized cookbooks…PERFECT! You can also use it as a cutting board, but I don’t want to do that because the wood is beautiful and I don’t want to scar it. A beautiful addition to my kitchen and my new found love of healthy, vegan cooking and baking!

This is one of those products that is so nice it surprises you. The woodgrain and the finish are absolutely beautiful. It is so simple to use and so versatile in its uses from recipe books to tablets or magazines, or even to showcase one of my paintings. It is far too pretty to take apart and stick into a cabinet until you need it to hold a recipe book.I really like how easy it is to adjust to the variable thickness of different items. Immediately after unboxing it I sat it on the island with a 3-inch 11"x7" binder packed with the best of our family recipes. This stand had no problem handling a book of that size.It is so pretty that I am thinking of swiping it from the kitchen to use as a display for one of my many paintings. The title calls this a cookbook stand, but it is so much more. It would be beautiful on a table in the middle of the room where you can see all sides of, because the back is finished just as nicely as the front.The stand is solid wood and is an excellent value for the craftmanship. It arrived well-packed and in pristine condition. It is so nice that I would not hesitate for a second to order for a gift.
