Clamp-Pals protect projects in 3 ways:
- Barrier Protection: The pads create a protective barrier between your workpiece and the clamp bar, preventing rust, scale, or mill varnish from staining your wood.
- Smooth Clamping Surface: The opposing side of each Clamp-Pal provides a smooth clamping surface that prevents deformation of the wood, unlike cast iron clamp heads.
- Corner Protection: The hollow recess in the corner of each Clamp-Pal is specifically designed to prevent damage to delicate miters and carefully machined edges.
Versatile Compatibility
Clamp-Pals are designed to work with a wide range of clamps, including 1/2" and 3/4" pipe clamps as well as parallel jaw clamps. The square corner registers on the corner of your workpiece, not the clamp. This versatility means Clamp-Pals will fit everything from a 60-year-old hand-me-down pipe clamp to the latest parallel jaw clamps, providing consistent protection and even clamping pressure across the board.
Easy to Use
Using Clamp-Pals is simple and intuitive. Just place a couple of Clamp-Pals where you intend to position your clamp, then set your clamp in place. The two faces of each Clamp-Pal feature different radius profiles, designed to closely match both 1/2" and 3/4" pipe, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
