Upon first use, all the paint started to chip off leaving little flakes everywhere. Considering the application of it being a tool that you hammer, the fact that the paint chips off like this is a really dumb design. They should have just left it unpainted with a light coat of oil if they wanted to prevent rust. I expected more from WoodRiver.

Used this chisel hoop setting tool to set the hoops on a new Japanese chisel set. It worked as advertised.

With this its easy, to properly set your chisel hoops. They look good now. No more running after rolling little rings.
