I got this for organizing keys, which is a good thing and it will definitely do that. With lots of organizing tags and rings as well as all the installation hardware you need it mounts easily and the labels on both the box and keys can help easy find the keys you need. Another nice feature is the door which can stay shut without the lock needing to be engaged.The box itself claims to be aluminum but is not completely made of metal: only the trim and a thin panel are made of metal, the rest is the stiff cardboard-like material that would not resist forced entry. While there is a lock and key for the box, the trim removes easily and the core material of the box is not strong.Overall I give this a 3/5, it is good for organizing keys but keys would not remain safe against even minor effort to remove them and there is no way to make it stronger. Recommended for folks who do not need the locking capability or use the lock to “keep honest people honest.”
