This is the exact product number given from my 8580 when it goes through its POST initiation sequence. This replacement part had a very different case form from the original one in the 8580; needless to say it did not fit and therefore could not work . My only solution was to take a picture of my original maintenance kit, then disassemble the new and luckily the roller fit and all the pieces from the old maintenance went back into their proper location.I must add this unit only provided an unexpected countdown of 1000 pages before it outright failed. $80 bought me a hard earned 1000 page lifespan. BEWARE.

Al estar mal almacenado el cartucho (de origen) empapó de aceite todo el rodillo de limpieza, conclusión: la impresora mancha todas las hojas con aceite, con la consecuente visita a la casa para limpiarla....

If I had known how much the consumables cost for a Xerox ColorQube 8580 I would have bought a different printer. This is effectively the pick up roller to feed the paper in to the device. As such it get dirty and need replacement. You really have no choice in the matter. When the printer costs $650 and the crayons cost $350 for a set and then another $50 or so for the Maintenance roller you are effectively buying a new printer every few years.
