The disc itself is beautiful. But mine came broken - the little ball that is at the end of the little shift that goes through your belt hole was gone. So it was just a shift without the ball at the end. So when I put it on, it popped right off. I decided to salvage mine and use it as a badge on the shoulder of my jacket. So I broke off the other parts, which came off very easily with a small pair of pliers.

I would like to go into the franchise but this is about the buckle. Many people preferred a cleaner design to one that is this detailed but I disagree. The overall franchise look is clear from a distance and you can see the detail up close. I have no clue what the actual metal is other than it is probably not Tibetan Silver. The metal warms fairly quickly so I would think it has some copper in it as copper is fairly cheap and goes well with other metals. That’s about it.

A year ago, i bought this to replace an old belt buckle. This is a cool looking design and it does look amazing, but it is not functional. The nub bit that latches into the belt notch snapped off the third time i wore it. I was heart broken but it looked so cool that I hung onto it. Now a year later, i decided to give it another go. The package arrived and it was broken in the same exact place, and it wasnt even taken out of the clear cellophane wrap yet. the design is cool but this design flaw (since it the same issue happened twice a year a part. ) means that it will not last long if it arrives in tact at all.
