first off they're not insulated but that's a good thing:. if you're working and your feet sweat that means wet feet and game over. I work in temperatures between 35 and 40 which means your feet are going to get cold but not wet."made in China"is clearly stamped on the bottom of these boots but so far no leakage. these boots are a lot lighter than my old commanders which makes them a lot more comfortable. they are tight at the top to protect against splash but fortunately I have skinny calves. I'll update. Aug 5 - no leaks - holding up very well. May 3 2022, still just as good as when i took them out of the box, works well with Dr Scholls. No leaks, Aug 2022. Oct 2023: well they've just about had it. there's a very slight leak around the seam on the toes but after two and a half years I think that's pretty darn good.

This product is only for individuals who are willing to pay a bit more for quality that is beyond anything else in the market. These boots will be the last pair you buy for years to come. I have had mine for almost 10 years and they are still in the same shape as when I first purchased them. I cant say enough good things about this product so just go buy it already.
