does not adjust to the 5.7 v8, so it will not work for almost any engine because the surface area that bolts to trans bellhousing area is to wide, hade to modify to fit, have to use jack on front of engine to keep it from hanging low in the front. doesn't roll very good at all, back wheels don't touch the ground with engine on it, feels like a very unstable engine stand and the worst one i have ever used, i wouldn't be surprised if the stand starts cracking or just falls apart

Giving it five stars so my comment will be seen Item did not hold the weight it said it would they offer refunds but makes you pay for return shipping cost which is the price of the item so you’ll end up being stuck with a 200 product that doesn’t work don’t waste your money on this product

Seems to be very sturdy and the welds seem to be of good quality. I have been welding for a couple of decades and will be pulling a Chevy 350 engine later this year. And can add more info after I bolt the engine to it then.

Seems like it will be sturdy enough to support the 7.3 Diesel engine. The top engine mounts attach easily but The lower mounts are not long enough to reach the bolt holes. I will fabricate some longer ones. Due to that I did not get the engine on the stand tonightFinally got the stand attached to the engine and put the engine weight on it. This is some sketchy crap right here. Engine is hang down from the stand around 15 deg. The “fingers” look like cheap coffee table legs. Way too light gauge to be usable. The 1/4 inch plate that the fingers mount too bends under weight. Unfortunately harbor freight has discontinued theirs so Amazon was needed. This is a death trap and need to be pulled off market before someone dies!

I was skeptical about this from the other reviews but it's holding up so far on a 5.9 Cummins engine. The bolt holes did not line up so we had to drill holes. As others have said, we wanted the harbor frieght engine stand but its not available right now so we took a chance on this. The wheels are terrible. They do not like to roll at all. Will update if the thing collapses..**Update** It did not collapse. We had the engine on it for a solid 2 weeks or so before we had time to get it apart to take the block to the machine shop. So hopefully this is a good sign. Not crazy about it but it got the job done.

arrived on time -- performs adequate -- but legs should have been about 6 inches longer -- not as stable as it could be

I normally don't write product reviews, but this engine stand is so terrible that felt as though I had to warn other potential purchasers! The welding is atrocious, and the finish is terrible. The parts were shipped loosely in the box, and several of the bags of fasteners were torn open.So....plenty of missing nuts and bolts. I didn't have high expectations for this stand when I bought it, but it was WAY worse than I expected. At this point, it's not worth it to return this item, the cost for shipping would probably be prohibitive.I'll use it for my engine rebuild, then promptly toss it in the scrap bin when I'm done.EDIT (10-24-15): Today I tried to bolt my Chevrolet 350 small block to this engine stand...it didn't fit.The most popular engine of all time won't bolt up to this pile of garbage! The four black support arms are machined in such a way that they the furthest they can be adjusted from one another is 15".Of course, the bellhousing bolts on the Chevy engine are 15-1/2" apart...Sure, I could slot the mounting holes on each arm with my milling machine, but why bother. This thing is going back to the seller, regardless of the cost.JUNK!Do yourself a favor and find a different engine stand...
