It seems to work just fine, and to be well made, only slightly tight on insertion into the camera. Thermal paste or a very thin thermal pad might be needed for making sure the ssd inside doesn't get too warm in places. Unfortunately, while it's standard practice to include something for that in m.2 ssd adapters of various types, nothing was included with this one. You should make sure to use a lower wattage SSD in any case, so it only has to dissipate an intermittent load of a few watts, but good contact still matters. There was a screwdriver with a couple extra screws though, so that's nice.

Very well made, everything fits perfectly. Works like a charm in Nikon Z8.

I used this in combination with a Sabrent Rocket and it ran cooler in long duration high performance camera video recording than an OWC Atlas Ultra that was twice the price. Both get hot, but this combination was cooler and worked fine. The higher advertised performance of the OWC requires drivers and therefore is meaningless to a camera.

This is my second adapter from Zitay. There are two versions one gold colored and for a few dollars less a silver. Both are fully machined aluminum. Both come with the proper fittings for the 2230 nvme. Both do not come with thermal paste. The silver was my second one allowing me to color code my cards. Fit in a Nikon Z8 is perfect, it installs and ejects with no binding at all. Overall I'm very pleased as I built my 1tb card for about $130.00 total.

The CFexpress type B can get pricey. This adapter is a machined metal unit that you plug in a solid state drive (ssd). If you read the review from Amazon America, some have great success using SABRENT Rocket M.2 2230 SSD. I order two 256GB and two adapter, so far no issue with my nikon z6. The adapter have no instruction, but carefully removed the cover and install the ssd, once it is seated place it back and make sure you are carefully paying attention to the front area as there is a little ledge that will deform if you start tightening the screw. Also when you place the ssd in the unit has a bit if an angle. Don’t worry, I think this is so when you tighten the screw it makes the ssd chip contact the thin top cover to dissipate the heat. The two card adapter dave different degree of angle, but both worked fine. It comes with a screwdriver and 4 extra screws. The adapter has two screw when you first remove it from the package. I think the maximum ssd is 1TB. I have two 256GB. Will updated if I encounter any issue.

i saved so much money by purchasing this with a fast 1tb ssd for my z6. if your camera takes this type of card, this is an absolute must have item. it's super easy to put together and speeds outpace all of my other cards hands down.

This is what I have been looking for. I have several cfexpress cards but struggled with the trade off of speed and capacity. I have a super fast 256GB card that nets a few min of prores footage and a 1TB card that is not nearly as fast. Enter this adaptor, now you can pick your storage (in my case a 2TB sabrent drive. This configuration is able to max out the interface and be markedly cheaper than a similar drive. The adaptor and drive will run you $250 for the 2TB config I have while a competing card would run you $600. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up for the prefect blend of speed and cost.
