This didn't even last 6 months while building my project car. Used it between my relocated battery and the main line of power to the fuse boxes/car, and simply switching it on/off manually to check things and one day it just stops working. I ended up tearing it apart and hot wiring it until a better quality unit came in. I'm sure if you installed this and just left it be, it would be fine. But it doesn't have any durability whatsoever.

Breaker won’t hold after 4 months. Want a refund or an exchange. Can’t find from to talk to seller. They informed me that they would send me another one but still have not received to this date 08/16/2021. 5/26/2022 update, seller still has not sent out another one like promised.

I got this particular circuit breaker because it was the only one I saw that has a plastic cap covering the metal where the wire gets connected. I might just be paranoid but I would rather not have something like that exposed so that there could possibly be metal to metal contact causing a spark or a fire under the hood. I'm using 4 AWG wire in the circuit breaker connected to an auxiliary fuse box inside my Jeep and its so simple to hook up that even a caveman could do it. I haven't overloaded it yet, so I don't 100% know if it will trip over 100 amps or not but I hope so. I did trip it on and off to verify that it did in fact cut power to my fuse box. It did so I'm happy with it. The price is nice and it doesn't look too bad under my hood.

What a P.O.S. I'd give it zero stars except the install was easy and that's how the review page prompts the star rating.Needed a 50 amp breaker for my battery isolator saw this and loved the design, the dust cover and the price. Installed it very easily and initially everything was fine until I decided to use the second battery about 3 weeks after the install. Noticed my voltage out was low, it should have been fully charged cause I had just gotten back from town which is a 2.5 hour trip by itself. Spent many more hours running errands too.Next morning I checked the voltage out of the 2nd battery and it was down to 12.04 volts! Way too low for the battery and no way I used that much juice overnight. Went out to check and make sure isolator was functioning properly and no problems there. Went back and saw reset button out. Pushed it in and it broke internally. Now the red button and the lever are both inoperable. I had to jump the contacts with my jumper cables to bypass the breaker and of course the cables crunched the back of the plastic housing off too so no way I could return it now. I figured so be it, I will just have to write this one off and was re-charging the 2nd battery with the jumper cable across the leads, out in the rain, when my wife comes in and tells me her car won't start! The door didn't get closed all the way so I undid the cables and went and jumped her car. No I'm all wet and cold and grumpy. Crappy start to the day. I will bite the bullet on this one and find a quality breaker instead. If this was something that you needed for your primary battery and didn't have a way to bypass the breaker, it would leave you stranded. Definently not something you should ever consider installing in yours or any body else's vehicle for sure. Oh well, another lesson learned the hard way.

Easy to install circuit breaker, and it work great, just wat is was looking for not just for protecting my audio system but also to cut the power when i'm not using it.

Order the wrong type, Vendor was quick with a response and a solution that was more then fair.Good quality breaker works great. I would definitely but their product again.
