Installed these on my 1994 90hp Evinrude. Started up fine and run good for three trips and started skipping at idle. Checked the coil and no spark. Reinstalled one of my original coils and spark came back. After running that day it started skipping again and found another coil pack gone. Tested coils per tech manual and OEM spec is 275ohms and these read 316 Ohms. Within specs if tech manual but will not fire.

This looks and feels good. It tests as good and the engine runs. Now for longevity who knows..I have no reasonable cause to believe it will fail early. And I have had OEM ones last decades. So will likely not worry about reliability
