I liked that it is very sturdy and that it can withstand outdoor weather. It looks good too. I didn't like that the Styrofoam it was packed in, is very difficult to remove all the tiny bits and pieces from the inside.

What a huge and expensive disappointment!!! I totally envy the buyers who got what they expected and shelled out a premium price for this. Mine is RED and looks nothing like tree bark, not even close. I'm in the process of moving so didn't open the box until now so most likely too late to return. Total waste of money, so sad

I ordered the large "stump" and it's pretty huge - and awesome! I'm so impressed with it's good looks and roomy capacity. And what a unique design! Maybe this winter we'll flip it over and it will become a plant stand, but for now it's a showstopper addition to our entryway holding all our umbrellas. Can't thank you enough for coming up with this terrific design!

The product picture on Amazon, looks pretty real, as far as comparing to a tree trunk. This one does NOT. It's RED, nothing close to the picture. It does not have a flat bottom "in" the container/stand. The bottom is indented aproximately 6-8" which is not good for umbrella's or walking sticks. Some will go down in the groove around the indention, some have to sit atop the huge indention. Everything is accurate in this statement.

This stand can fit a plant on one end, or you can flip it over for a deeper umbrella stand. I suppose a third use is that you can hide something in the end facing the floor.I ordered this umbrella stand to keep my hiking poles in. When it arrived, the styrofoam was broken into pieces and clinging all over the stand. It was a pain to try and clean all of that off. I actually had to leave a few pieces of styrofoam on it because I didn't want to waste my time trying to get all of it.The stand has some flaws on it. You can see in the pictures I attached that there was a hole in the surface, which has me concerned about the durability. While I did purchase one that was advertised as Used, it was advertised as Like New, so I was disappointed in the flaws.The size and weight are what I expected, so I'm happy with that. It is also rustic and unique looking. I decided to keep it because it's hard to find a good stand for my hiking poles.

This umbrella holder is incredible. It wowed me right out of the box. The quality is top notch, extremely functional and a very unique piece to add to the house or front porch. 5 stars highly recommend!
