I got this set to be able to use when diving for shark teeth off the coast. There is a little depth of about 10 feet and it is hard to check around the sandbar thoroughly without a tank but using a large tank and gear is overkill. These are simple and straightforward to use. Perfect for my needs. Iām not sure what other scenarios I would need such a small tank but this is great for me. It also comes in a nice case.

This kit did not instill confidence, after talking to a professional diver about these he said that he would not count on these and that in fact they could be dangerous for inexperienced divers, so use with extreme caution. Not sure of much else as I haven't been able to fully test them.they seemed well made to me, but I am not a diving expert, I leave those judgements to the pros.

Tanks decent - hand pump ineffective. Wouldn't use that at all.

Have you always dreamed of owning a scuba tank? Dream no more, as this is a great value and you can mark that off your bucket list. As described you manually fill these with the included floor pump.Upon first fill I heard an air leak, but read the troubleshooting directions which showed the regulator screw needed a 1/5 turn to decrease the sensitivity. Easy to following instructions and I had it adjusted in 2 minutes.Connected back to the pump and no leaks, so I began the initial fill. 100 pumps got it to 1000psi. Took another 100 pumps to reach 1500psi and then another 100 to reach 2000psi. So 300 pumps total got it to 2000psi bottle pressure. I stopped there for my initial testing. But I would think that it should take another 300-400 pumps to get from 2000 to 3000psi. That would be 600-700 pumps to reach the 3000psi max pressure rating. So back to my testing: It took about 5 minutes to perform the 300 pumps needed to reach 2000psi with a few breaks. 2000psi tank pressure I was able to withdraw 11 full breaths from the tank before it was empty. (The last breath took longer to inhale as the tank pressure was very low) I am 6'2" tall 210 lbs for reference on lung capacity. All these tests were performed out of the water, but I look forward to warmer weather and trying this out in the water very soon. I think the 5-10 minutes of air supply claimed by the product description will be accurate with a full 3000psi tank. Of course it depends on how long a person can hold their breath between taking breaths from the scuba tank. I will probably end up buying a electric pump to fills these with once I try them out a few times. I anticipate that I will love it and want to be able to fill the tanks faster and easier than with the floor pump.

These units look really nice but they could improve on two fronts. It would be nice if I could fill it with a regular tie compressor for the lower PSI but there is no adaptive connector for that. Pumping with the hand pump from Zero PSI takes way too long. The regulators only being good to 10 ft is not very deep. Having them rated for 50 ft makes them a lot more useful.

So I am giving it 4 stars based on the quality of the tanks and regulator. They seem to be a good quality but the hand pump is just not practical. If you were in a emergency situation where you absolutely had no power the pump would work but for the return time underwater for the hand pump it is just not practical. I received this product at no charge and where I would buy the other dive kits from this brand I would not buy this one because for the price they have much better sets for just a little bit more money. I would also buy the compressor as well as this hand pump just takes too much time and needs too much maintenance, mine also was leaking a lot of oil as I pumped.

This is a nice all in one 2-mini tank scuba kit. My family are all avid scuba divers. This is a nice kit to either use as a backup or just to have fun while snorkeling and using it when you want to go deeper to check something out.I have not yet taken it into the water but I put one of them together and pumped the tank up to about 2000PSI with the hand pump just to test it out (out of the water). No leaks and easy to breath. I would definitely not use the hand pump to fill these up on a regular basis. As you can expect, if you use hand pumps for bike tires, you can get exhausted filling up a couple of 29" mountain bike tires to 40-50PSI. Now think of filling up these tanks to 30000psi, unless you want to do it just for a workout. Not something that I would want to do on a regular basis. I imagine it would take 20-30 min of good pumping speed to get it to 3000psi. The hand pump is a great addition to this kit as a backup. You can use a scuba compressor if you have one available to you. My plan is to fill it using the included adapter and a scuba tank.Overall, I think that this is a good all in one setup and it includes a lot of O-rings and spare parts as well as a nice bag/case to keep it all in.If you travel with this on an airplane, you need to have the regulator and tanks disconnected so that the folks at the airport can easily see that it is not charged. I would also highly recommend that you at least take a intro scuba class (ideally a scuba certification) if you plan to use this.We plan to do a little more testing with it in our pool once it warms up a little more.Recommended!

I bought this because I have 2 spare air and thought it would be a good addition. The pump takes more than 1000 pumps to fill a bottle. Thats when I gave up on the pump. One of the 2 tanks didn't work. Im beyond the 30 days so I cant return it. Neither of the pressure gauges go beyond 2000 psi. I filled both of them off a scuba bottle at a dive shop with a test gauge in hand still only 2000 psi. These things are total trash.
