The pan does not stay in from the vibration. It worked his way out again. Had to create my own way to keep it in.

The black piece, the little top hat shaped thing, was too small. The moving plunger should slide freely inside it but it didn’t even fit inside. Had to drill the flat piece of the top hat with a 7/32". It works perfectly now and fits my HRN216 perfectly. I took the advice of others to epoxy the pin to prevent it from vibrating out.

Mine broke so I bought these to replace them. I had a learning curve to figure out the best way to get them installed. The second one took less than 10 minutes, start to finish.

Purchased this as a replacement for my Honda HRN216. Assembly is very straightforward but be sure not to drop the pin and spring from the packaging, the pin is extremely small. The plastic feels of decent quality, not as strong as OEM but value wise you can't beat it. Once you assemble it, it functions as it should, but there's one thing. The pin that holds the turn, it is prone to falling out. I had this happen and luckily found it on the shed floor. Take yourself some epoxy and put a dab on both sides of the turn to keep the pin in. Has worked flawlessly since. If it wasn't for the pin, it would be 5 stars
