This is a "receive only" attenuator. It is rated at 0.25 watts and will burn up if given any more wattage than 250 milliwatts.

This attenuator has 8 miniature toggle switches, which are delicate and can't withstand impacts. The item was shipped in a thinly padded envelope and from the condition of the package it had been smashed at least once by USPS. It should have been shipped in a protective box. The seller sources the product from China and Amazon will not automatically replace it, you have to deal with the seller first. Being a technician, I was able to repair the unit with my own parts. If you would be unable to do that, you should steer clear of this item.
