Good for 10 oz. frozen vegetables packages. Trying to reduce cooking in plastic, and this is a good solution. Dump in 10 oz. frozen vegetables, microwave on high for 5 minutes in an 1100 watt oven. Watch out, the handles do get hot.

This glass casserole dish with lid just arrived. I haven’t used it yet, but it’s the small size that I wanted and it has a knob on top, making it easy to lift the lid from a hot dish. It was well packaged, no damage. However, there is very little information on the box and it’s all in Chinese.. Inside the box is a tiny sheet of information, most is also in Chinese, some in English. You’ll need a magnifying glass to read it. The info on the Amazon page says that it holds 0.8 liters, which would be about 27 ounces. It is not. I filled the dish with water measured in a Pyrex measuring cup. It took 20 ounces, which is the size I wanted. You probably wouldn’t want to cook more than 16 ounces of food in it, however. The Amazon description says that it’s microwave, oven, dishwasher, and freezer safe, other qualities I wanted. But this information is not on the description sheet that came with the dish. I may edit this review after I use the dish to describe this well it serves its stated use. The price is reasonable for a casserole dish and lid that both can be put in the microwave., a quality that’s extremely hard to find.
