I am graduating college and our stoles are red - I saw these and knew I needed them to add some flair to my stole, without drawing too much attention away from graduation or my peers. They were fairly easy to handle (I'd say I have intermediate sewing experience, if that helps frame "easy") and have enough structure to pin without warping too much, although they are somewhat easy to warp depending on what they're sewn to (this double-layered satin was an extra pain). I laid everything flat given the circumstances, used some glue to "pin" in place in areas that might warp, then lightly stitched around the perimeter and some central areas to make it fully flat to the fabric. The netting around the edges is kind of a pain (I wish I had a hot tool to melt it quickly like some of the pros do) but I left most of it as it blends in with the red satin anyway. I did cut it off from around the edges, so the petals that branch off look amazing over a black graduation robe. Some of the petals I folded down behind the stole, and while the appliques do have a slightly stiff feel, I was able to get them folded without much resistance - that is not the case for all the petals though, and something to consider if putting these appliques on a similarly narrow piece of fabric like a sash or belt.Generally, the quality of these is probably not ideal for a wedding or something that may involve a lot of close-up inspection of detail. There are some spots where you can see the white backing or interfacing or whatever is underneath the petal stitches, and the stitches holding it to the netting are a brownish red (up close it looked dirty and I thought it was lint at first). I fixed a lot of that by covering with red thread where I could during attachment, and thankfully nobody will be close enough to notice (and it's only going to get used for a few hours before being put away forever with mementos).For my needs, they're actually PERFECT - like really, legitimately, the size and color were made for this exact purpose, and I am so excited to wear my subtle flair to graduation. Overall very pleased with these appliques, the ease of working with them, and the general aesthetic of the design.

These are lovely, properly mirrored, and on a nice sturdy transparent (but not clear) mesh. The mesh basically disappears against a lighter background but is pretty visible against a darker one, but it's easy enough to trim back so long as you're careful. The size is great and they have a nice sheen to them. they'll be perfect for the costume i'm working on!

These lovely embroidered flower Appliques which come in a pair are beautiful. I love the soft beige color that will work with so many different colors and printed fabrics. They are large enough to stand out and are really well made.
