This red air horn brings me back to my childhood. Some things don’t need to change, especially a classic bike horn! My 8-year-old grandson is going to LOVE this on his new bike we are giving him for his 9th birthday. What child doesn’t like to zoom around on a bike while blasting a horn? All bikes need a bell or a horn, or both, but kids’ bikes do for sure. It helps kids remember to use the sound to warn someone when they are coming up behind them and to not surprise them. Learning to use the horn (or a bell) helps remind them they are not the only people in the bike space and to be respectful of others on the road or trail as well.Installing the horn is quick and easy: it will require a screwdriver (Phillips or flat head will work) and a small adjustable wrench. While this attachment will fit on many handlebars, the bracket is probably too small to fit on a taped handlebar. You’ll have to tighten it up pretty well before it will catch and not swing around from side to side. On a particularly wide handlebar, you might need some pliers to squeeze the bracket so that the enclosed (fairly long) mounting screw will be able to meet the hole on the other side of the bracket.
