This 12” 1mm disk had one side with an engravable white covering when I peeled off the blue protective film,and one shiny silver side.The Amazon description/photo doesn’t show the engravable side and I wasn’t sure if my 10 watt diode laser would be powerful enough to leaveany markings, but with the white covering on one side it worked perfectly.I was able to engrave a sample logo using my 10 watt diode laser, with a setting of 100% power at 7.5mm/second.My only complaint is that the only size disk I could find on Amazon for this seller is 12” in diameter. I wish there were other smaller sizes (6”, 8” and 10” diameter) available with this same coating.
