I like that it comes with everything needed to completely install it. It depends if you want it near or far away from the battery and the radio but for at least under the front seats installation it will be enough. My aftermarket head unit has av out so using that was very easy also since it's just a couple of RCA connectors and that's it.The remote works well and I hid it inside my center console glove box and it stays out of the way until I need it.I also like that the bass comes with its own integrated amplifier and I basically don't have to do anything on the head unit itself. Also it sounds good especially in the small space that is the inside of the car and with the windows up.

First off, this is an incredibly complete kit. Power wiring, audio harness (with multiple adapters), a power switch AND a remote level control. Everything you need for just about any install is included!It’s crazy compact for underseat installs. The spider grille looks cool, but be aware it’s unlikely to hold under punishment. Thats too bad because it does add edginess and the LEDs make it feel like something is about to happen.So how does it sound? 800w is surprisingly small for a sub. It makes up for it in punch, though, being in a sealed box. You’re not gonna break windows with it but you definitely get back the low end that your factory noise system lacks.

I don't know much about cars but my cousin and I were able to spend an afternoon and got this to work in my little sedan.The sound is great to my ears and the speaker puts out a large amount of sound. It hooked up to my radio easily and fit nicely under the driver's seat, hidden away from view.The box had everything we needed to set it up and I think we only needed to drill a whole or two to get the thing to connect to all the components.I think for the price and the result, this is agreat little sub to add a little bump to your beat.

Nice kit with everything you need to install it, more in fact. Wire was plenty long to go from the back seat of my Jeep to the battery under the hood, and route it in a good way.Sounds great. You're not going to blow the windows out with this, but what you will do is fill in some of the lows, even at lower volumes which makes it sound so much better, but it will rattle the vehicle when you crank it up.The LED light on mine didn't work, thus the only 4 stars, but where I put it, it can't be seen anyway so I didn't really care.

This is a very well-built sub. Pre-installation testing was a breeze, and I am super impressed by the quality and weight. The speaker comes very well packaged with nearly everything you'll need for decent installation. The speaker also has a wired remote control which is also very well-built.If you've ever installed a subwoofer, you'll know that the behavior of the speaker on the bench varies dramatically from the behavior once installed in a given location - home theater or car. Placing this under the seats in a home theater was FANTASTIC, so this isn't a car-only kind of thing.I powered the speaker at 13.5V/8A. Testing with a pure sine at 1vpp, I found the best and most active response at 72Hz, with great coverage from 32Hz to 84Hz, then all the way to 650Hz before the edge.The LED will illuminate when V+ and GND are connected, but the speaker isn't active. The speaker is only active when V+ is also applied to REM, at which point the entire terminal bar on the speaker will glow bright green.Yes, I would recommend this product!

The 10 inch under-seat subwoofer is certainly a viable option for someone who wants to add a bit more low-end to your car, without having to worry about taking up valuable trunk space. One could certainly mount this in the trunk, though, if that is desired.The kit came with everything you need to hook the subwoofer up, depending on how far away from your radio & power source you plan on placing it. The RCA cable is somewhere around 12 or 15 feet long, and the power cables are of similar lengths if memory serves. The kit even comes with a converter to convert your front left and right speaker outputs to line level, complete with RCA outputs, if your radio doesn’t have RCA/Line level outputs. It even comes with a beefy 60 amp in-line power fuse that goes on the positive power cable.The bass that is output by this subwoofer is certainly decent, and can absolutely add some much needed sub-bass to your system. It’s not going to win any competitions (ha!) or likely won’t have your homies saying “I heard you 4 blocks away”, but it’s certainly worth adding, especially for the relatively cheap price.
