Annyeonghaseyo my fellow product knowledge seekers! Tonight I am going to review this Karate Belt Display Rack based on my five star rating system for presentation, quality, user friendliness, longevity, and value. Normally I start reviews off by identifying who the product is for, but this particular product is a little too straight forward for any sort of discussion around it. Basically anyone who participates in a sport or activity that involves various belts can use this display. Let’s move onto the review…Presentation- this belt display looks pretty nice to me! The brown color is subtle and allows the belt colors to stand out, though you won’t see much of the brown if your rack is full. The paint is smooth, absent of bubbles or strokes and brush marks, and all visible areas are covered. The stickers are a really awesome addition that allows you to personalize the display beyond your belt colors. I think the inclusion of the letters so you can put your name (or whatever you want) on the top of the display is fantastic! Overall, it is a simplistic design that gets the job done, and for what it is, I believe this display deserves a star for presentation.Quality- well, quality is hard to judge for this display. It is made of bamboo planks that are on the thinner side, though they seem to be just the right size as to not add any unnecessary bulk and weight to the display. The lack of quality spawns from how the boards are attached to one another, typically being a single staple. One reviewer already had a plank come loose because of this weak design. Two staples per side would have been a better choice, or some wood glue would have really sealed the deal. Sure this might add a tiny fraction to the cost, but would it really? Better overall quality and longevity at the cost of double the staples or a dab of glue = far more positive experiences = more revenue for the manufacture. Anyway, the rest of the display is tied together with a flat nylon tether that allows it some flexibility, and each belt is held in place with two Velcro loops. The design works for what it is, but it does have that weakness in how the boards are attached to one another that could have easily been overcome. None of the edges were sharp, no hardware was poking through the materials, no chips, splinters, or cracks in the wood, and everything seemed to be straight, in line, and of equal sizes. In spite of the little caveats, there are more positives than negatives, and even the negatives may not be experienced by the majority of you who purchase this item (including myself as I had no issues with it). Therefore, for what it is, I suggest quality also deserves a star.User friendliness- inside the box came one small pack of hardware with two screws and two drywall anchors to hang the display, three sheets of stickers, and the display itself. To me, just about anyone could hang this display and slap some stickers on it. Folding the belts and strapping them in with the Velcro loops was a breeze. Nothing about this display was difficult to assemble, so I see no reason why user friendliness doesn’t deserve a star. It should be noted that there are no instructions, which I don’t think you would need any, though some people live and die by a set of instructions. Maybe a single sheet that tells you a drill, a level, and a screw driver are required tools with a five step step guide (mark holes, drill holes, insert drywall anchors, insert screws into drywall anchors, hang display) wouldn’t be a bad idea. If anything a simple set of instructions like this would prevent anyone from complaining or having a negative experience, but this is just my opinion.Longevity- this is a display product that likely will not be touched much, if at all, once it is assembled and hung. I have no reason to believe that it’s not going to last. Even the reviewer who had a board come undone could easily repair the two boards with a little bit of wood glue (or glue in general). For less complex products such as these, products that stay inside a controlled environment, and/or display products that are not going to be used and abused, there’s no reason not to provide a star for longevity upon the initial review. If something changes, I will return and update my review with new information. Until then, longevity gains a star.Value- a bit subjective as the price at the time of this review is $44 for this display, though upon browsing Amazon, this seems to be in the ballpark of most similar displays. I think $44 is a little steep for what you get, but it is a complete all-in-one display kit. The stickers are a nice added touch, and it was also packaged well. Considering all of our other categories have gained a star for this review, the median price for this products competition, and for what we are getting in the box, I think the value is there and deserving of our fifth star. This would be a stellar display for $30, which I think is a far more appropriate price. However, I suppose the current market dictates the asking price, and seeing how there are many other displays within the $40 range, what can you do? This sure does beat those clear tubes that you roll your belt into a circle and place them upon one another like pancakes for a similar cost!Well I hope this review helps you make an educated decision about purchasing this display or not. I’ll be honest, I was surprised by this review. I have been looking at these sorts of displays for over a year now and never purchased one because I felt like they looked cheap, or had weak (or shill) Vine reviews. I’m pleasantly surprised by this display, as I believe you will be too. There’s tons of other options out there, some likely will be of better quality, but with that will come a higher price tag. The product was shipped perfectly, no damage and in perfect condition. Overall great build quality minus the Velcro. I plan to proudly hang this on my wall and display my belts from over the years and the fond memories that came with them. The big problem I had was the Velcro and no real instructions on how to display the belt. The belt rack is very light in weight and folds in half for easy storage size wise. I've been doing martial arts since I was very young and I had a hard time getting some of the belts to stay or fit well. Do you wrap the belts around it, do you fold the belts, honestly I'm still not sure how to display belts on it in the proper functionality, I'll update this post when I have more answers. Overall once I figure it out this is going to be amazing value for money, still need to figure out how to properly hang my belts though.update: it just required some extra folding to make the fit correctly

Bought 2 of these for my kids Jiu Jitsu belts. The first one went together fine, but the 2nd broke when putting together. These are not high quality and for the price I knew that going in. My husband was able to fix it and you can't tell. What really sold me is the ability to customize each one with the stickers. The kids had fun with that. It's only function is to hold belts so it won't be handled once hung on the wall.

I got this to replace a similar one that's been hanging in my son's room. The old one was janky and warped and just never sat right, so when I saw this pop up I thought it would be an awesome replacement. Sure enough, this has a MUCH higher build quality than the older one and just works a lot better for us. It's super easy to put together and holds 10 belts, which is quite nice. In our case, we put up all of his old belts, but keep his current one in the bag with his uniform so that he's always ready for class. I'm not sure how it is in every martial art, but our Taekwondo organization does white, high white, yellow, high yellow, etc. Following that scheme, we'll be able to get all the way to black belt with this display, and since he's not even allowed to try for black belt until 6th grade, that'll do us quite well. So many "awards" are just given these days, and at least with our group, the belts aren't a given. They do have to be earned and it's definitely possible to fail the test. Given that it's a real effort and requires real discipline, practice, and effort to earn those belts, I love that this is a fun, colorful, and very visible way to display his hard work. I think it's an excellent way to help build pride in the accomplishments that he's earned.

This item is already assembled. That's always a plus and then it's just a matter of putting the belts into the velcro fasteners to hold them in place. Hang it up and you're done.

My daughter's belts look great on it so far and she really enjoyed using the letter stickers to decorate it.
