Folks, gather round and listen to a tale that will shake you to the core. You see, some time back, as folks are wont to say, we had ourselves a cord. And this cord was a menace, I mean a real deal "watch your toes" kind of menace that was terrorizing the countryside. But then, one day, a stranger wandered into town. He said his name was 10 FT Floor Cord Cover, Cord Covers for Wires on Floor, Cord Protector, Floor Cable Cover, Hide Extension Cord Covers for Floor, Cable Cavity: 0.47" (W) x 0.29" (H), Black, and boy, let me tell you, he was something special. Why, he went and done wrapped up that there cord real tight like. I mean, like covered it completely.And you know what folks? That cord never did bother no one never again. At least I reckon that's the appropriate number of double-negatives to mean it's a positive thing, but counting's not my strong suit.So yeah, goodbye cord, hello new friend.

Provides great cord protection. I was able to lay it out and cut it to length. Very easy to use. It was in a roll so it took a couple days to lay flat but has been fine since then.

Fits 1 large cord or 2 regular size cords. Keeps the cords in place. Pretty simple to use and you can cut it to your desired length.

-Length is as described.-To my delight, I did not need to manually cut the opening on the bottom. It was pre-scored and could just be pulled apart by hand.-I do trust this to protect the cords, it's thick/firm enough and holds its shape.-It feels nice without being overly hard if you do step on it.-They really do mean it when they say 1 to 2 cables. A thick extension cord might be a bit much, and unless your cables are overly thin, you won't be fitting more than 2.-I would describe it as semi-gloss. Neither fully shiny nor fully matte.I'm not sure about the value given the cost, but it does seem to do what it says it will do.

Easy to unroll and lay flat. Easy to get the split in the underside started and then continued down the length. Easy to cut to length.I got this to cut some pieces for the power cords for the laptops that are usually on our coffee table (because we're that kind of family), so I kind of wish this cover were flatter and less visually prominent -- gray or beige would not jump off the wood floor they way the black does -- but I guess if I wanted that I'd have to pay a lot more. These will cut down on the almost-tripping that happens a couple of times a month.

The cord cover arrived rolled up in a sealed plastic bag. The cover retains the rolled shape, but after a few hours it will flatten down on a hard surface.The cover has a matte black finish, and looks much better than a cord (or cords) running across the floor.Install was very easy. Just lay the cover out, and cut to the desired length. Regular kitchen scissors work fine to cut. Then, you can bend the cover in half and put the cables in the center opening.I wanted to use the cover for an extension cord (with 14 gauge wire). The fit was very tight, but worked. Keep this in mind, as you won't be able to fit more than one larger wire, or a small number of smaller wires.After testing the cover for a few days, it appears to be durable and should last a long time. It does move if bumped or kicked. If you purchase this item, you may also want to consider double sided sticky tape for hard surfaces - or Velcro double sided adhesive strips (put on each end of the cover) for carpet - just to keep the protector in place.
